According to my research, Richard & Hanna did arrive in Massachusetts in 1636. Stayed for a while and was asked to leave because of some difference with the local church. They left the coloney with Thomas Hooker and went to Rhode Island and were asked to leave there also. Both families along with a large group of others founded the City of Hartford, Conn. They stayed a few years and after Richard was declared a free man the family along with the Montague Family moved up the Connecticut river and founded the town of Hadley Mass where he and family members are buried today. Correct me if I am wrong Please

Name: "Don Church"

The Rev. Thomas Hooker party left Massachusetts and went directly to Connecticut and founder Hartford. Richard Church and family later settled Hadley, MA.
