Hi, my name is Jim Church, I am from Canada, my earliest relative in Canada is John Church, his wife was Rebecca Croft, John's tombstone shows he was born in 1790 and he and his wife came from the USA, does anyone in the Church family in NY have any information, I am very proud to have the surname Church and would like to find my connection to the USA Church families, thanks, James Alfred Church

Name: "Jim Church"

Hi, I am looking for the birthplace of John Church , born approximately 1790 in the USA, eventually came to Canada, could have been already married to Rebecca Smith who supposedly was born in the USA, they had a son named Thomas who was born in Canada in 1828 near Renfrew Ontario(Calabogie) his second wife was Rebecca Croft who was also born in the USA they eventually had a large family, does anyone know of a John Church who migraged to Canada, the original homestead in Canada is actually not that far from the New York border also Vermont, thanks, Jim Church

Name: "Karen"

I am looking for my great grandfathers( Edward Glenn Church) roots all I have is he was born in Indiana about 1876, his father was born in New York and his mother in Indiana. I have heard rumor that his father was a veternarian. Edward married my g grandmother Lizzie Staub Denninger, she was from Randolph county Illinois. I do know that Edward worked for a railroad and had his lower leg amputated due to an injury while in Louisana. Any information will help.
